Scripture Study

A few years ago I checked out the NIV version of the Bible to read with my KJV and it really helped my scripture study. Lately I've been using a website http://www.ibsstl.org/bible/verse/index.php that gives me whatever bible version of a scripture I choose and lays them out side by side. It's really cool. I showed it to my friend and she told me about another place I can go called http://www.biblegateway.com/ So I've been using biblegateway these past few weeks and I like the layout just a little better on this one.

I've been studying Preach My Gospel and I like to search the scriptures references it gives online because I can find the passages faster and go back and forth through them easier. Here is an example of a really cool verse Preach My Gospel gives for study Matt 6:1-4, 16-18. Now click on this link to Bible Gateway and you can see how I searched this scripture in the different Bible versions, it's really cool. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=mathew%206:1-4,16-18;&version=9;65;31; I also use this link for additional scripture http://scriptures.lds.org/en/contents

Happy studying! :D

We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. - Article of Faith #8
